So much happiness and hope emulated from these beautiful girls, but that quickly turned to sorrow and loss for the ones they left behind. Their death left a hole in so many of our hearts. They lived life to the fullest, they never let anyone dull their sparkle and they were certainly always smiling.
To honor the girls memory, the Poindexter and Feketa families established the Tia Lee Festival to celebrate the joy their girls brought to so many lives. The Inaugural Tia Lee Festival was held Feb 1, 2020! The community celebrated these beautiful souls. We are so grateful to our sponsors and all those that attended!
We were proud to have Rodney Atkins and Jerrod Niemann headline. It was a fun filled day competing in the Speed Battle Corn Hole Competition, playing in the Family Fun Zone and enjoying lots of delicious food and crafts from our local vendors.
In the best interest of our community, The TIA LEE Festival for 2021 has been cancelled. We thank everyone for your continued support. TIA LEE Festival will be back in 2022! Stay Tuned!

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
